A few years ago I was attracted by bulbs, since then part of the space on my lower terrace is dedicated to these plants.

I start this gallery about bulbs with a few plants from South Africa belonging to the family Amaryllidaceae. I especially like their explosive power at  flowering time, since I am not sure I fully understood how to grow them, I also appreciate their ability to survive .....

Amnocharis coranica, plant with leaves and flower

The plant looks self-fertile, since I got fruits and seeds which germinated  easily

Amnocharis coranica, one year old seedling
