Da una talea donatami nella primavera 2004 da uno dei custodi del Jardin Exotique di Montecarlo, ho avuto questa prima ed unica fioritura nell'Ottobre 2005, alla quale sono seguiti due baccelli pieni di semi (benché fosse l'unica Caralluma in fiore in quel momento), maturati nell'anno successivo. Non ho ancora visto in fiore le piante nate da quei semi, per cui non so se si tratta di una pianta autofertile o se è avvenuta una ibridazione.
I was given this cutting during a visit at the Jardin Exotique di Montecarlo in 2004, its first flower appeared in October 2005, followed by the typical horned fruits despite the fact it was the only caralluma flowering in that period. Since the seedlings born form this seed batch did not flower yet, I cannot say whether the plant is self-fertile or hybridized with other stapeliads.
