succulent treasures

Plant flowering in october 2007. I have been waiting for this flower for 7 years and then it did not mach the label. None of the experts I know was able to identify the plant, which is likely a hybrid with S. engleriana as one of the parents.

Fioritura dell’ottobre ’07. Il fiore di questa pianta si è fatto attendere ben 7 anni, rivelando a sorpresa, una pianta ben diversa da quella che era dichiarata nel cartellino.  Nessuno tra gli esperti del settore l’ha saputa identificare, dacché si presume possa essere un ibrido, imparentata probabilmente anche con la Stapelia engleriana
